This warmed my heart

As if it wasn’t enough to move me to tears last week when someone captured Sarah on video singing along with Gretchen Wilson’s “Redneck Woman”…
Now, Patrick Poole has posted this photo:

I have at least a dozen Buckeye necklaces made by my kids throughout their childhood every time a big football game was coming up. Sarah’s doesn’t look like her kids made it…there’s not enough pony beads and plastic lacing…but it still brings back fond memories for me.
I hope she will take some warm memories of Ohio with her to Washington, along with that Buckeye necklace.
